Therapy for anyone ready to embark on a journey within.

At Unearthed Psychotherapy, I offer one-on-one, virtual therapy for those navigating the exhausting and sometimes confusing transitions of life.

Because of my own firsthand experience, I approach my work with the understanding that our family stories are complex and nuanced, and the belief that my clients are the experts on themselves and their needs.

“There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle because we do not live single-issue lives.”

— Audre Lorde

What to expect:

We might begin with exploring healthy boundaries, learning ways to communicate, and working towards forming relationships where you can express and be yourself.

I primarily approach therapy through a systems lens, relational-cultural therapy, and draw some influence from body-based approaches like somatic experiencing. I believe my clients are the experts on themselves, and I strive to create the haven in which they feel safe enough to break down and examine their own roots.

How often will we meet?

While everyone is different, most clients benefit from weekly sessions for the first 6-8 weeks. After that, I collaborate with my client to determine the best course of action — weekly, biweekly, monthly, for example.

Individual Therapy Details:

As a relational trauma therapist, individual therapy with me focuses on what emotions or sensations we might be experiencing at this moment, in which we explore from a place of gentle curiosity and compassion. Individual therapy is for folks who want to further explore their relationship to themselves and within the context of relationships with others. I tend to approach our work together from a relational-cultural lens while incorporating some Internal Family Systems (IFS or Parts Work), and Somatic Experiencing.

Fees:

  • Individual sessions: $130

  • EMDR 50-minute sessions: $130

  • EMDR 90-minute sessions: $190

  • I hold free 20 minute video consultations

  • While I hold sessions primarily between Mondays through Thursdays with evening hours available, I may be able to offer other days/times. Please let me know if you are needing other time slots.
